Facial Acupuncture (75 Minutes)

Based on beliefs from Traditional Chinese Medicine, the complexion reflects the body’s internal balance and health. As a specialized branch of acupuncture, cosmetic or facial acupuncture focuses on the face and neck to reduce wrinkles and improve skin tone. This approach involves the insertion of fine needles (usually between 50-100 needles depending on concerns and the areas being targeted) to increase blood circulation to the skin. Enhanced blood flow brings vital nutrients and fresh oxygen to the needled areas, supporting cell regeneration and improving overall skin tone and glow. The needles penetrate below the epidermis into the upper dermis layer stimulating fibroblasts, the cells which produce collagen. Body needles are also administered to give an overall beneficial full body treatment. For best results, a minimum of 4-10 sessions are required. Packages offer a greater value and are available upon request (4 treatments for $500 paid upfront, saving a total of $100).

$150

Microneedling (75 Minutes)

Microneedling is a safe, minimally invasive treatment that is performed using a specialized handheld device. At one end of the device a cartridge containing several very small and sterilized needles is inserted and then disposed of after each use. The needles microscopically penetrate the skin, stimulating the regeneration of collagen and elastin producing cells in the dermis layer of the skin. The treatment has become a favorite method for reducing the appearance of wrinkles, scars, acne, stretch marks, and uneven skin tone, as well as effectively stimulating hair growth in men and women. For best results, a minimum of  5-10 treatments are required. Packages offer a greater value and are available upon request (5 sessions for $1300 paid upfront, saving a total of $200).

Cupping (25 Minutes)

Cupping therapy has been used for countless years across Asia to alleviate pain and ease both acute and chronic health issues. Cups are placed on the body using a suction force (through heat or a pump device) which pulls the skin slightly up into the cup. This suction greatly affects the underlying connective tissue (fascia), muscles and organ systems by bringing fresh blood flow to the area. The increase in blood flow provides oxygen to the tissues while reducing inflammation, blood stagnation and pain.

$60

Gua Sha (25 Minutes)

Gua sha is a therapeutic scraping technique used to illicit a circulatory reaction called petechiae or “sha”. This ancient technique is very effective for alleviating muscle tightness and addressing fascia restrictions. Many patients report feeling immediate relief from pain and stiffness.

$60

Herbal Consultation (30 Minutes)

This herbal consultation provides an in-depth discussion of the specific concerns you would like to address with the support of Chinese herbal formulas and/or dietary supplements, either in conjunction with acupuncture treatments or independently.
